Upica Mat (Core Material)

U-Pica^®　 Mat works polyvinylidene chloride microspheres into long-fiber nonwoven fabric and thermally expands them in the presence of a special binder. It is highly compatible with unsaturated polyester resin (abbreviated below as “resin”). It soaks up approximately 55% of its own volume in resin, and even after curing there is virtually no change in thickness.
